Yeah - this is a tough story to reconcile in your mind. I think that the investigation is going to uncovers how deep this rabbit hole goes.

Scott, I will have to tell you, after listening to you tell us about this disgusting inhumane story, it hasn't left my head yet. I keep thinking about what this woman and her children must have felt and gone through. I am so upset about this. He needs to live in his "dungeon" he built for the rest of his life....
I decided to do a little more research and discovered pictures of the "dungeon" he built, on a cnn website...i think.

Hope all is well.

Hi Scott.
I've just listened to this episode and I have to say two things:

1. Last time you said you did sth. about your audio,
and it has really gotten better. I listen to TAC with a pair of Westone UM2
and you can tell a good recording from a bad one pretty fast with these little earphones.

2. Death penalty for Joseph Fritzel? Yes, please!
I don't support this usually, but he deserves it.
What a monster.

I honestly can't see how you would never know. I mean I could see it for a bit, but 24 years! I think at some point I would start to question why the basement was always off limits. There just seems like there are too many unbelievable actions by the people involved, and those living right next door.

About Josef Fritzl, he fathered 7 kids with his daughter. The older 3 were raised by him and his wife, the next 3 were left with her in the basement, the youngest one died right after birth and he threw it in an incinerator.
