I have to say that I look down on the wii because it is just a glorified game cube with a gimmick. But for the middle aged casual gamers such as your self it is a good system. But watch out as it is easy to get tennis elbow from the wii and remember wii sports isn’t the only game for the wii. Happy belated B-Day

Don’t listen to Adam, Wii is WAAAY more fun that a PS3 or XBox 360. Scott, may I recommend a game? You should pick up “Wii Play.” The game consists of about a dozen mini games including Pool, Ping Pong, and a “Duck Hunt”-esque game. But the cool thing is, it comes with another remote controller, so you can play with Kim or Emma or any other friend.
trust me, it’s a good time.

Hi Scott,
Happy belated birthday. Great to hear that you had a great birthday and great gifts!!
For B, we have VIP theaters here in Mexico city, here’s a post i found about them, http://isapedraza.blogspot.com/2007/02/salas-de-cine-vip.html and the website is cinepolis dot com dot mx
They are exactly what you described, but for the price, the average ticket here in mexico is about 5-6 dollars, and the price for th VIP theater is about 10 dollars. I like it very much, however I only go there for those 3 hour + long movies.

Hey – yey on your Wii purchase and happy belated birthday!
Me and my flat-mate LOVE ours, we play tennis ages and get somewhat over-involved and rather competitive :S In a sad admission we also have a WWF game that’s just the funniest thing I ever played, you can grab chairs/chase each other round/do all sorts. I thought it would be very lame, but its tres amusing.
Hope all is well with you and yours

p.s. patio furniture??? seriously??? with all that’s out there on the internet, he still chose plastic inert furniture??? lol

The furniture patio story made me laugh out loud. So perfect.
Welcome to having a Wii! You can get old nostalgic games through their virtual console service. Also wiifit is coming out soon: http://www.nintendo.com/wiifit/en/#/home/
I definitely plan on picking that up!
