Very funny!
The difference between us is that I believe the Entire government to be corrupt; not just the Republicans.
I also really like beer but you should save your money, I can just pop over to Germany this weekend and get the real stuff!!

Robin,

"I was just trying to get it out there that the military does have secret missions and the government is corrupt."

We agree 1000%. If you had just come out and said that, we'd have been in agreement and I would have bought you a beer. :)

Dude, that was harsh! I think I prefer silly.
Which part did you find silly? The military part or the presidency part?
I don't think we should vote because it is a moot point. I can continue to hang on to the belief that "I can make a difference", however, I try to live in the real world these days.

To Scott: I am not trying to portray myself as a "thought leader". You said at the end of the show that you wanted comments and a debate. I gave you one. We can go back to talking about how great it is that you have a new kid if you'd prefer. Don't get me wrong, it is great. I have two kids myself. I was just trying to get it out there that the military does have secret missions and the government is corrupt.

Robin,

Since you seem to want to portray yourself as a thought leader on American Politics, show me in any course you took that says that not voting is the best way to make your voice heard.

Jim - I love that you can say something so profound and funny in five words. :)

Why does it always have to be a competition? I am not a republican, then again, I am not a democrat. I am a fed-up American citizen afraid to live overseas and travel freely because my government is corrupt to the point of alienating the rest of the world. Just because I say I don't like Clinton does not mean I like Bush. And by the way, if you took a course on politics you would learn that you don't see the effects of a president in office for eight to ten years after his presidency. Look it up and then get back to me.
To Jim: Why am I silly?

Hey Scott!

Congrats on your new baby girl!

I like listening to people talk politics.

Regarding Bill Clinton, all I have to say is that business boomed while he was in office. I didn't pay as much as I do at the pump, and I didn't live in fear while he was in office. Whether or not it was his doing is debateable. But I personally enjoyed life more then than now.

Bush goes into office and we are attacked. We are paying an amount that we never imagined at the pump. The country is has huge deficit. We are reminded that we must be alert. We live in constant fear and are given our rights away because we fear terrorism.

Again, whether it is Bush's fault may be debateable, but the fact is that the above is true. That is not debateable.

We'll see how things pan out with this next president.

Great show as always!

I listened to you for the first time today. I thought that you were pretty good until you suggested that Bill Clinton was the best president in your lifetime, but I hung on. You completely lost me when you talked about your friend, since you were twelve, who couldn't make it to your wedding because he had military issues. You totally said that he was a fucking liar on the radio. Do you realize that there really are secret issues that cannot be discussed with the general public? Way to promote trust in your military, dude.
On the issue of the presidency and how people from other countries percieve Americans; they think we are materialistic idiots. They think we should vote in an Independent. I tried to tell them that it wouldn't make a difference. To be in the government is to be corrupt. If you don't start that way, you finish that way. If you hold out and try to make it right, you are shouldered out by the majority. The greatest day and the greatest protest would be no vote at all. At least then our government would see that we are not playing their greedy games anymore and we demand an honest government who truly are servants of the public.

CONTRATULATIONS.......What a pretty baby!!!!

About politics.....as long as a democrat gets the White House I don't care if it's Clinton or Obama....although....I like Clinton better...but it will be OK with Obama's as well.

If you think you need a vacation it's OK.....but please, don't even think about stop doing the show. I really love it and enjoy it very much every week (I even listen to it more than once a week....)

Greetings from Costa Rica for you and Kim.
