scott,

The only thing I stuck up my nose when I was five. was my finger. The photographer that took our family portrait thought it permanently stuck. I wish I had the photos so I could burn them.

Nice!

At least you didn't leave it lodged there only to be found by a CT scan after profuse nose bleeds and a pungent odor. :)

For the record, I'm guilty too.
My food of choice was a green bean.

That took awhile to remove!!

Rachael - how can someone not do more research before they get something permanently inked on them? It is mind-boggling how this can happen.

Jim - I guess sticking things up your nose when you're 5 is fairly common. I don't feel like such a misfit now! :)

When my sister was five she stuck a Red Hot candy up her nose. I still tease her about it to this day.

She's twenty-three.

The Coca-Cola thing is classic - a guy who tattoo'd me had a similar issue, he got a tattoo that he thought said dragon breath ie fire and flames and scarey-ness, what he actually got was dragon fart. not quite the same level of fear there :D
