Taking a short break from CNN and all these crazy wildfires in California – wow! My thoughts are definitely with those in danger. Hopefully firefighters get the break in the weather they need.
Elsewhere, the Red Sox are going to the World Series after a nail-biter of a series with Cleveland. I guess we’ll see what the Rockies are made of.

The Coca-Cola thing is classic – a guy who tattoo’d me had a similar issue, he got a tattoo that he thought said dragon breath ie fire and flames and scarey-ness, what he actually got was dragon fart. not quite the same level of fear there

When my sister was five she stuck a Red Hot candy up her nose. I still tease her about it to this day.

Rachael – how can someone not do more research before they get something permanently inked on them? It is mind-boggling how this can happen.
Jim – I guess sticking things up your nose when you’re 5 is fairly common. I don’t feel like such a misfit now!

At least you didn’t leave it lodged there only to be found by a CT scan after profuse nose bleeds and a pungent odor.

The only thing I stuck up my nose when I was five. was my finger. The photographer that took our family portrait thought it permanently stuck. I wish I had the photos so I could burn them.
