Bush on His Way to Becoming “Vacation President”

Do you know Bush is currently on his 418th day of vacation since he took office? He has been out-vacationed by only Ronald Reagan at 436 days. Let’s do some basic math, shall we?

Would it be fair to say that the average American gets two weeks a year of vacation time? If you’re especially lucky you might get three weeks, yes? Ok, so let’s break this down – Bush has been in office roughly six and a half years. If we divide his 418 days by six and a half years we get an average of 64 days per year. That is almost 13 weeks a year of vacation! Do you know anyone that gets even half that from their full time job?

How many more days are we stuck with this jackass in office?

    Scott,

If he gets 19 more days of vacation time he will break the record. No wonder they call him a lamb duck president!!

i wonder how much vacation previous presidents have had. that would make these stats a lot more meaningful.
