Bob is clearly in Vick’s closet smelling his whitie tighties right now, whispering to himself “It’s ok Vick, I got your backside”

Glad you got the place! Can’t wait to see it when we come out to CA. We definitely want to drive up to Santa Barbara and see it when we are there.
Love,
Mom

Hi Mom,
We’re happy we found a place too. It can be stressful.

I think that ‘rent-a-pet’ is not only a terrible idea but also cruel. I have two dogs that i absolutely love to death. I cannot imagine what those poor ‘rental’ dogs go through everytime they are transferred over to someone new. Dogs are social animals and they need to bond with someone. What kind of conditions are they subject to when they arent rented out?

What an interesting comment thread.
From josh the double poster, to scott’s mom (hi donna!), to Jason and Ashley…
it’s like a little AC family….

Re: Rent-A-Pet
To cut to the chase, I think this is a horrible idea! I, myself, am I dog owner & overall pet lover. Everyone has their own opinion, but to me pets have as much, if not more personality then half of the human population! How would America look at someone renting out children to people who can’t hack it full-time? It’s also sad to say that there are a lot pet owners out there that have no business owning one. I’m not a huge pet activist or anything. I just find it sad people look at animals as something you can just take in because it sounds like a good idea. Then comes the time when you can’t manage the pet after a while, you give them away or even worse, dump them off in the wild.
Scott: About getting up when you really don’t want to or having to find a new place to live with the difficulty of owning a dog, I’m right there with you. It can be a pain sometime, but there’s never been a second I’ve debuted giving up my dog because of a trouble it was for me!

I agree with you 100%, Jody! There are times that I would much rather hang out with my dogs than half of the people I know! They are much more entertaining! One of my dogs is a St. Bernard so I know first hand stories of some of the fates that this breed has to deal with, as do other large dog breeds. THey are all cute and cuddly when they are small but as soon as they get to be 150 lbs and arent properly trained, out they go. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat dogs (same thing as the waiting staff at a restaurant).

sorry you took offense to the comments about the “fuckin loser” it was just a tie-in to the entire segment about vick, and I did consider this a news show. Sorry about that too.
the current news of vick sounds more and more like he was the head of the whole fighting ring and that his friends want to get out with as little as possible while they still can. my comments were made about 10 days ago before all this came out. i was merely saying that people should refrain from pointing the finger right away. no matter what we say, it is not going to affect what vick gets for punishment. with mark mcguire, brian griese, bonds, maurice clarett, that recent wrestler murder, tim donaghy, lance armstrong, (just to name a few) and now vick. there are drugs, DUI’s, and crime everywhere. no good parent would ever tell their children that these people are people to idolized regardless of what the players image might be. that’s just poor parenting. there are great, average, and bad people everywhere, that includes sports and politics, and that will never change. To think something like this is one of a kind is ridiculous. vick is just the first to get caught. He should still get what he deserves but spreading propaganda is not going to help anything. now the court has a responsibility to give him extra due to the public outcry and dismay this has caused. this was the only point i wanted to make and apparently im the only one who feels that way. Im a denver fan and could care less about what happens. But im already tired of listening about it and we haven’t even got into the football season yet. if the average joe did something wrong then it’s no big deal and wouldn’t even make the back page but when rich people get in trouble, it becomes something to cheer about and gets front page headlines. right?
you said that vick is yet to deny anything. what good would it do to deny anything. reassure the public? they already made their decision. im tired of listening to the news and being depressed. when was the last any of you have felt good after watching the news? maybe im all by myself, but have any of you ever heard anything good besides the times it is trying to promote the person who did it? and to josh, these “whities tighties” are getting more action than you ever will.

Bob,
I don’t so much take issue with your points as much as I keep coming back to “why would listen to this show” if speculation and opinion bother you so much? I am not a journalist and my show shouldn’t be seen as the be-all-end-all of factual reporting.
It is what it is. I do thank you for your opinions and for putting yourself out there.

RE: sensor reminding you that your child is in the car. While I agree that it should be common sence, I am going to guess that the person who did the segment doesn’t have children. It’s very easy to judge when you’re not in the situation. I have a 14 month old and although I have never left him in the child I could see how it could happen espeically for the parent that doesn’t necessailry transport the child the majority of the time. i.e. daddy is dropping the baby off at daycare when mommy usually does it. Terrible terrible accidents can happen, so if there is something that can prevent it, I am all for it.

Karen,
I do have a child. One that is almost two years old and it is safe to say that I am always aware when he is in the car with me.

well, I have a story in a way similar the user that submitted a comment about the Dog boob lady.
This story takes place near coco beach Florida at a stake & shake last week (A team from my school and I went down to Cape Canaveral for the Phoenix probe launch.) Anyways about half-way through waiting for the food this group of 8 people sits down right next to us. they had 6 kids, none looked older than 7 years old, and two adult women. One of the adult women was talking very harsh to this young boy. Then it got kinda worse, apparently the kid only wanted a small burger (a good choice, those things could kill you). The women slapped him across the face and said “What are you, a little wuss, a little chicken?” I mean this lady really scared the kid. WHAT is Wrong with parents these days??? If there is one thing that could help America would be to send these people to some type of responsible-parenting-reeducation-camp! I am seriously freaked out.
