anyway, i was sooooo happy to hear the america fuck yeah segment. it sadens me that the government has to go to shit for us to have the segment around, but kudos to you for making a negative- a positive. also congratulations on the baby. (i'm sure it makes kim feel good that you say "we" it is really really sweet!)

Okay, I apologize for that. I got all excited and hit 'enter' prematurely (sp?). Anyway, congratulations again on the creation of iBaby 1.0!! Does that make Kim a pregnatron 3000? Bad joke, sorry. Also, the thought of you schmurging and squishing over your love for your wife who you married in the first freaking place (so obviously you love her!) made me throw up in my mouth a little. Kashi Go Lean and Soy milk is not tasty the second time around.

On a more serious note,
I can totally understand the Brazilian woman's thought process. Maybe she feels like she has nowhere else to go or like she's not good enough for anyone. Like damaged goods coming from an abusive relationship. After so many years of emotional abuse, a woman truly in love can start believing the crap. Regardless of how public the abuse, some women really believe all the things that I mentioned earlier. Its sad and my heart goes out to her. I can only imagine what happens behind closed doors. Did anyone see that Oprah episode where the guy was beating up on his wife and had his then 10 year old son vidoetape it? After years of watching him brainwash her children to hate her, involving them in her abuse, etc. she got the strength to leave with the kids. If the Brazilian woman has kids with this man, she may feel like she needs to stay for the sake of the children. So that they can have the 'benefit' of both parents. Hopefully she will find it within herself to get up and leave him. Maybe she can kick his Seabass before she packs it up and hits the dusty trail.
And to all the listeners (male and female) that are in abusive relationships, just go. Make a plan and go. It may not seemso simple, but there is help out there for you. Its not going to be easy, but the end result will so totally be worth it. Somewhere inside of everyone lies that primal instinct to survive. So survive.

Wow Congrats!!!! You must be so excited!

I'm heading to Cali in August, gonna stop in Santa Barbara on the way back. You make it sound like an awesome place to check out. We're driving from British Columbia to Huntington Beach first week in August. If you know of any cool places two snowboarding Canadian chicks should check out, let me know!

Greg - Obviously will not be using f-bombs in front o the kid.

Brian - Yes, suck-less couldn't suck more. I'm so over it. I tried installing the audio driver and it didn't fix it.

Brandon and Tracy - Thanks for the well-wishes. I will teach the kid how to podcast if they ever show an interest, and thanks for the review on AJ's show. :)

Trudi - Thanks for your congrats. However, I will categorize it however I like. This is new to me and if I flub the words who cares? In a lot of ways I believe that pregnancy is a dual role, so though I never gave it much though before your comment, but now I actually like saying "we."

Congrats on the pregnancy! However, your partner is pregnant, you are not. Please stop saying "we" are pregnant. "We" are parents-to-be, but only she is pregnant.

Cheers.

Hi Scott, me again. So, I thought I would check out that 'AJ Bald guy' as you never know - if he listens to you he just might have the same type of opinions and discuss the same topics, which would make a good show. Um, no. It is basically him mumbling advertisements and then playing a bunch of songs..... not even from newer artists, stuff from like Springsteen and such... kind of like a wanna be DJ... no wonder he needed some publicity off your show - very bad indeed!

The "suck less" campaign gets more annoying each week! And the whole idea behind a theme of "suck less" is just stupid. As if saying, no matter how hard you try, you are still going to suck!

Anyway, Congrats to you and Kim!! Can't wait to meet the little guy! :D

I saw that apple released an "Audio Update 2007-01" that fixes the bad driver in the 10.4.10.

Oh, and I bought the JTX single from iTunes...

Hey Scott,

Congrats. You might have to tone down the F-bombs when the kid arrives. Good luck moving . . . again. Everyone loves America Fuck Yeah segment, but I agree it's better used sparingly - like when Wendy's brings back the Bacon Mushroom Melt only to take it away again. It will be back, it will be back.
