My god, this was a shitty ordeal. It took me five times to get this stupid thing right. Between software crashes, wrong settings and me being unable to function like a human, this ordeal went on and on and on. I’m so over it:

    Hi,

Ok, I just heard #79 yesterday and I am listening #80 now so I get it I am behind the power curve. I wanted to comment on the Saddam hanging. First, the Iraqi court system is based on a mixture of English and French Juresprudence. Thats why it worked a whole lot differently than what Americans are use to. Second, the execution was his choice. He actually wanted to die by firing squad but the Iraqi’s wouldn’t allow it. To think allowing him to live was a viable option is absurd. In prison he was a ralling point. In death he is a martyr to a losing cause. In a few months it won’t matter. Mostly because he is not something to rally around anymore. I agree with your indignation about the barbaric way they treated him at the gallows, but what did you expect. There are a lot of emotional people in Iraq when it comes to Sddam. He and his sons tortured, raped, and executed thousands of people for the slightest of infractions. Emotions run high and sometimes get the better of people. True the government should have had some impartiality, but nothing is ever perfect. Third, we have tried and achieved nicely a new form of government here in Iraq. The guards in the ski mask and the death squad appearance aside. There are a few problem but they are being worked out.
To those that don’t like the time line, hey, Rome wasn’t built in a day. It took around 20 or 30 years to help rebuild everything after WWII. American’s (I fall into this category) sometimes think everything should be fixed in 43 minutes with comercial breaks. Life doesn’t work that way.
Thanks for your time, and excuse the slight rant,
    Tucker

    Scott,
Thank you for talking about Jeff’s B. comment :) And I hope most of us (your radio listeners) agree with you :)

And I like iphone… Yes it’s really expensive thing than other smartphones… And of course if you have 600$ you’re able to buy laptop… but anyway for Apple, I think it’s a good start in production of mobile phones… But in fact, I’m looking forward to having the other models with other features…

    Sorry for my mistakes.

    With best wishes from Russia,
    Michael

Donald Trump is obviously a very smart man and he knows as we all do that “The Apprentice” is declining in ratings (as you said). It seems to me that he is engaging in this ridiculous fued with Rosie, because, lets face it she is an easy target. The saying stands true in this case, “Even bad publicity is good publicity.” Kudos to Donald… use your resources! If nothing else comes of this fued… he is bother Rosie, which I personally appreciate!

P.S. I found your show about a month ago and I love it!

  4. David G. Says:

    I don’t even know where to start…..

I’ll just start with Saddam I guess. I belive he got what was coming to him. He did terrible things and I don’t think that hanging was enough punishment for evering thing that he did. This is where you come in and say that we are trying to build a government like are own over there, and that was wrong for the executioners to chant, and that I have no compation. I do think that Bush should be charged with war crimes and spend life in prison with Bubba as his cellmate. Whartever, I still think it was a big mistake going in there and it is an even bigger mistake not getting out as soon as possible.

Two and a half years for 78lbs, that’s crazy. What the hell was she thinking when she mailed it to herself. Al I can say is WOW.

P.S. Great One Man’s Opinion and sorry that you had to make the show 5 times. Keep them coming.

    Thanks
    David

  5. Charles Willis Says:

Hey I just listen to your show on itunes radio and i was enjoying
untill you just PISSSSSSSED me off. I dont have a problem being
democrats or even liberal for the most part. What i do have a problem
is for people in this country to be so hateful of this country and its
leadership. You dont like bush ok SHUT UP, not like yalls man CLINTON
was a good idea, Remember this, ” I did not have sexual relations with
her, I just stuck my cock in her mouth while she sucked tll i got off.
Ok so we probably disagree on president and what makes them good. ok
the reason why i am writing and why i am so pissed off. Saddam Hussein
was an evil person, no matter conservative or liberal you can not deny
that. He has killed family of mine, obvisouly by marriage, by burning
them as their family watched. ok he deserve death. But to compare how
many people on accident were killed in a WAR is NOT the SAME as
hussein killing innocent people for not liking him. WAY DIFFERENT. WAT
DIFFERENT. The sad thing about war is that innoncent people will die,
but at least INNOCENT people will no longer be murdered at the hands
of this tyrannt. HEY DONT FORGOT ABOUT THE 3000 innocent people that
died in our country on 9-11. No matter what you think, The probablity
of hussein funding terriosm especially al-queda is really high and
they found al-queda training camps in baghdad. anyways, I will no
longer turn into show because of your idiocracy.

  6. Michman Says:

    Charles,
I can say a lot about this case… But I don’t know is it necessary to say or not… Anyway, first of all: You live in the free country. So, everyone could say everything he or she wants to say. Then… Don’t talk about justice and Saddam. He was killed and it’s fact. Was it justly or not… We’ve already talked about it. And, my God, you’re talking about people dying during american company in Iraq (during the war), and you’re talking about people who was killed during Saddam regime, and what’s the difference?! I’m not talking about terrorists, I’m talking about people who wants to live in their country, about peaceful people… Who wanted to live in their country during Saddam regime and who wants to live in their country during american company… But american strategy consists of many air strikes and bombing attacks, and so many people die during these air strikes and bombing attacks and I hope you know.
And, what the hell, do you know about terrorism?! You know only September, 9, and that’s it! I’m sorry that I’m talking about the tragedy in such way… But do you know how many people were killed in Russia by terrorists?! Do you know what we felt when our houses were blew up during the night. Do you know about “Dubrovka”, Buddenovsk, Beslan? About bombs at the underground. About the high-rise buildings which were blew up in Buynaksk, Volgodonsk, Moscow, about bombs on May, 9?! And do you know what we feel when we’re going to sleep in our flats, when we get on a train at the underground station… So, please don’t use tragedies as reason for killing people…

p.s. Sorry for my mistakes, and sorry if I hurt you somehow…

    With best wishes from Russia,
    Michael

  7. Kelly_K Says:

Charles, I think you better look up idiocracy in the dictionary.

  8. Rachael Says:

    Hey

Not sure how I feel about the whole Saddam thing, clearly the things he did were beyond terrible, but whether its right to kill him or not I just don’t know. All I can say is that I’m glad we don’t have the death penalty in the UK, because I’d never like to be in a position where I decided whether a person lived or died.

On a lighter matter thanks for keeping on with the show despite the many issues getting it done!

    Thanks

    Rach

  9. David G. Says:

I think it is time to bring back the America, Fuck Yeah segment again.

  10. Raymond Says:

Saddam trial was a joke? I hope you are joking when you said that! It really does not matter Saddam got a far better trial than the people he put on trial. As far as the invasion it was based on a lie, that’s for sure but, it was a good lie. We have spent the last 28 years trying to cleanup Carters fuck up; let me explain if it was not for the Carter administration Saddam would have never had CIA support in his brutal takeover of the Iraqi government, the reason Carter wanted Saddam in power is he new Saddam would attack Iran. I’m dune with my rant.

  11. yoyo Says:

    I agree with David

  12. Lecot Says:

Finally! Finally I was able to find an American radio-host other than Harry Shearer, to realise more or less what this Saddam Thing was all about! Finally someone who realized that the trial was not about the gassings of Iranians and Kurds (because they forbade him to talk about that, because it would imply that the american government had delivered those weapons to him, so he’d fight against Iran), just a motive to hang him as quickly as possible in an even barbaric way as he did with his victims.
Keep up the good work, by urging people to get informed! Not just listening to wat Fox and CNN have to say. Love your show!
