It Was a Fun Experiment
American Cliche Daily was a fun little experiment. I learned two very important things. First, even though people say they will pay for content doesn’t mean they will pony-up when it comes time. Second, doing a daily show is hard work!
I started American Cliche Daily on October 23rd and I will do the final episode on November 22nd. That means that you shouldn’t sign up and pay for access at this point because you won’t get your full $5 worth. I will be unable to provide refunds for a partial month. Remember, this is just for the daily show NOT the weekly show.
I really do appreciate those few of you that took the journey and were willing to pay for the daily show. Most of you told me you loved it. I am having fun doing it for you. Unfortunately, it takes between an hour and two hours per day to research, produce, and post the show. With the hit I have to take on my “real” job to make enough time, I have lost a lot of my income. I never started this project to get rich, but I needed to at least break even and I won’t even come close to that after a single month.
The regular show will continue as it has been. The numbers continue to grow each month and I really do enjoy doing it. Thanks to all of you for indulging me in this little experiment.

Hi,
why not do the weekly episode a little bit longer instead of an daily show.
In that way no one can complain. And you can like take payment for that extra 15 minutes or something, OR, i donno if you have, but if you dont put up a paypal on the main site so that ppl can donate if they whant. I would sure leave some dollars for you then.
An other thing, way not put up some pictures of your working area where you do all your shows. And your dog, I would love too see her. i think it would be fun just too see how you do american cliché and so on.
Well I dont know, just spontaneous stuff popping out of my head.
Anyway love your show.
sorry for my bad English Im from Europe.
thx, bye

Hi Scott,
Just wanted to say “Hi” and say it’s a shame the daily show didn’t work out. I’ve been listening to your show since round about episode 20 or something, so I’m a big fan of your show (it’s one of my favourites… and I don’t have many) and I WOULD have signed up for the daily show, but sometimes I don’t even get a chance to listen to the weekly show in time and often end up with 2 or 3 weekly shows sitting on my iPod waiting to be listened to
I love the show! Keep up all the good work and I look forward to listening to the next episode
