Do You Want American Cliche Daily?
Many of you have said that you do. So, I’m pleased to announce a new program to those of you that just can’t get enough of my babbling. There are two ways to use this service. First, you go to THIS screen and register. Once you create your username and validate it through email you will be taken to Paypal (which I’m told works internationally) to pay $5 for 30 days. Once you make the payment, you will be taken back to the American Cliche Daily website and will be able to LOGIN to take advantage of all the new content waiting for you including a daily weekday version of American Cliche, exclusive videos, and regular giveaways. After a 30-day cycle you will be directed back to Paypal to pay again for the coming 30 days.
The second way to use the service is to pay upfront for a year. Using that plan you get access to everything mentioned above, plus you’ll receive an exclusive American Cliche t-shirt that you’ll have a chance to help design. If you prefer to do it that way, all you need to do is login to Paypal and send $60 to TheAmericanCliche(at)gmail.com. From there, you will be setup and ready to go for a year. If you’d prefer to NOT use Paypal, email me and we’ll see what we can work out.
Over the course of setting this up, I’ve received several questions that I want to address. First, the weekly show will stay as-is. It will be free to everyone and will still come out on Tuesday evenings. The daily shows will supplement that. They will come out four days a week around the weekly show and will be shorter versions. Second, you will be able to subscribe to email notification. Unfortunately, and this is a big one, I haven’t figured out a way for the rss subscription to work yet. It should be something easy, but something about password protecting the site screws up the rss subscription of media files. Third, many of you have asked if there will be a way to purchase the t-shirt without paying for the year of content. At this point, I’m not sure. It will depend on how many shirt are ordered and how many we have left. The short answer for now is that, no, you won’t be able to get a shirt right away unless you purchase a year, but that could change in a few months. Finally, this whole program should be seen as a sort of public beta. I’m still ironing out the kinks and at this point I’m not sure how many people are going to sign up. We’ll evaluate after a month and see where we stand.
I want to thank everyone that has offered their input on this project. It was really driven by your desire for more content then I could provide. I don’t plan to get rich off this project, but it will help cover the costs and time to produce the extra programming. Feel free to post in the comments if you have additional questions or concerns.

Saw the comment come in, then was perplexed that it wasn’t on the site. I think I’ve fixed the issue, so feel free to comment away!
And, THANK YOU for your support. I do very much appreciate it!

Hi Jeff,
I personally sent the password to the first email you signed up with. If you didn’t get that, then it could be an issue with your email. I don’t think anyone else has had issues….if so, please chime in.
I will try and send a new password tomorrow.
