phreakmac, i watched that video...very disturbing. I was one of those people and i sadly admit it, that was hard to convince that it wouldn't take much more than the planes and fire heating up the buildings to bring them down. I actually felt sick to my stomach watching that. I felt ashamed to be living in a country that would hide that much from its people and just think we're all stupid. I can't pinpoint the emotions i'm feeling right now. Its like they knew we're in the age where what the media says is often taken as the truth and they banked on that...and it worked!! questions weren't asked and when they were, answers that my children could have come up were given.

Check out the new video "911 mysteries". It is also on google video but leaves little doubt that explosives were used in the WTC buildings.

Stop the bashing? Fuck that. This is your show for one, and the other, this is a free country to express your opinions. I used to bash Clinton every chance I could much to disdain of my "liberal" friends.

I USED to be a Republican and my thinking was inline with many of the popular right wing radio personalities. I voted for Bush in both Presidential elections harboring a grudge against Gore from long ago (the PMRC days). If I could take those votes back (not that it would make a difference), I would.

To hear him condone torture and the existence of these secret prisons makes us no better than the enemy we used to fight (the Communists). American soldiers used to be the guys in the white hats... the liberators of Europe, fighting the good fight... under Bush & Rumsfeld's direction they have been pushed us further down the greyscale. It's shameful. I could go on and on about him. But this is your show... and your blog.

thanks,

The whole "Busch" thing was definitely not a typo. That person just thought it would be funny to spell his name like that. By the way Ang, it's not really that funny. It's about as funny as the whole Sadam "Insane" thing. That's not funny. However, what is funny is that the same person who was trying to be funny by spelling the President's name after beer is the same person who tried to make a STRONG point about why we should RESPECT the President.

Also, Ang's reason for why we should respect the President is not a very good one. A President should be respected for what he does for his country and the rest of the world! Not just for BEING the President of the United States!

I only feel the need to address this because, the person that made the comment about "Busch" didn't make a typo, it was typed like that many times. People make typographical errors and that is fine. I hadn't realized there was a proper way to write the word bull shit, but the more I think back to my school days, wouldn't it be bull-shit if we are trying to correct someone.
I mean seriously, if that person lives in America, how hard it is to know the President's name is spelled without a "C" in it. My lack of an "N" in the criminal was merely a typo my grammar swift friend.

By the way, you should watch your run on sentences and dangling particples. I know a few things about grammar too!

Let's not get petty over a typo. However, if we're supposed to be respecting our President, shouldn't we know how to spell his last name? Did we not see "bullshit" as two words and the flagrant grammatical error in the improper selection of "there" instead of "their"? I don't even know what a "crimal" is, among others. I digress.

I'm a right-winger and yet have listened to this show, and will continue, since my discovery on Windows Media sometime around show twenty-something when I couldn't get LAUNCHcast. This is a well prepared show and presents valid information in a legit manner. I feel that I am strong enough and comfortable in my views that I can take the comments of those like Scott and fellow listeners. Keep up the good work - and the controversy - Scott.

As for suggestions for the next President, has anyone considered Jon Stewart? Whether he wins or not, or if he even goes into office, I think well-educated and well rounded individuals, like Stewart, would make for a very powerful country. — ï

When someone makes the decison to run for office of President of the United States they know going into that they will fall under much scrutiny. They know that when something goes wrong, fingers will be pointed at them, questions will be directed to them, not the people who "help" make the decisions. He's under attack because he's responsible for all the decesions he's APPROVED and not been able to defend. If you can't defend what all your advisors are trying to get you to do, then ask for more information. If you don't have enough backbone to stand up to them, get the hell out of the White House and let someone run the country who can. So obviously he believes enough if the decisions other people are helping him make because he's trying like hell to defend himself and the actions they are making.
There are many people in this country that deserve respect that just don't get enough of it, George W. isn't one of them. He's a liar, a crimal, and in my opinion a murderer or innocent soldiers. And that is coming from a veteran. As I stated before he's perpetuating a war that only make himself and his other croonies richer and that is a blanent disrespect of the american people. Since when in our normal day lives do we allow ourselves to be disrespected like that and just take it. We don't if we are any kind of human being.

I realize I'm a lowly liberal with no respect for the president and all, but I think his name is spelled "Bush" like the green leafy thing on your lawn and not "Busch" as in Anheuser.

As an American society we have the freedom of speech. People can say what they want about the President. However I am a firm believer that we need to RESPECT the President! No one says you have to agree with everything he says or does, but show a little respect! He is the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!
And for those who don't agree with what Busch says/does remember he is not making all his decisions on his own. There are many parities invovled in the decision-making process (ie: Busch's cabinet,CIA,FBI etc...) It's through their research and advising that decisions and actions are made.
I guess what I am getting at is a little respect for the President can go a long way. If you can't respect Busch for what he's done, respect him for who he is - the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

Maybe I should rename the show to "Merican Cliche" :)

I didn't say too much on this point in this week's show because I hadn't read enough to comment on it in any sort of in-depth way. As I have learned through numerous hate emails, I can comment on flaming bags of poo all I want, but hell will reign down on me if I make a comment on the Bush administration if I don't research the hell out of what I'm saying.

I will say that if this is true that the Senate is trying to pass a bill that will pardon Bush for breaking the law, then our government is even more corrupt than I thought it was. I also agree with you Melissa, when Clinton had sex everyone was talking about getting him out of office. While I agree that what he did doesn't make a very good husband, it was a far cry from what Bush is doing now. Where is the outcry? Where is the rage? Clinton had sex. Big deal...Bush invaded a sovereign nation without any provocation. He manipulated information to make his case. Now even after that info has been debunked, we still allow him to do what he wants. We allow him to illegally wiretap our phones. We allow our country to torture people (sometimes innocent people). Where does it end? Damn, I'm fired up and it is only 7:55 in the morning!

i just don't understand how when Clinton was in office the country was ready to impeach him for getting some head from an intern and lying about it and now everyone is just turning there backs and letting Bush do his thing even though his approval rating has dropped. It just doesn't make sense. The "merican people" as he calls us, obviously care, so why can't we do something about. He can continue to kill our soldiers to fight a war that only makes him richer, why is this okay?
I know that the only positive thing that has come of the Bush administration is that more people than ever are more aware of what is going on in politics. Young people are voting and paying attention. I can even say that about myself. I wasn't able to hold an intelligent coversation about polictics before he started running for office, then I started listening. I started doing my homework. I realized that even if my one little vote doesn't do that much, that i still had to cast it, because if i was saying that then there were probably millions of people with the same attitude and millions of votes do count.
There! There is something positive about the Bush administration...kinda...it's the best i can do at least.

There! There is something positive about the Bush administration…kinda…it’s the best i can do at least.

Pardon Bush? In my opinion thats the biggest load of bull shit I've ever heard in my entire life. That just proves how corrupt our government is. What does that really mean? That we elected a dictator that could do what ever he wants for 8 years and gets off with penelty. I am surprised that you didn't spend more time on your show taling about this. I am just in shock. Why would they pardon some one for breaking the law? Where the fuck are the checks and balances. Please for the love of god people vote some democrates into the senate so that bill doesn't pass. I know you suggested that we examine the people we vote for, but that bill needs to be stopped and Bush needs to be impeached and put in prison. Since you didn't say much on the show do you have any opinions on this?
