American Cliche - #58
We have almost nailed down our new home. I had hoped to have something concrete to tell you, but we couldn’t get it finalized before airtime. Anyway, I feel much better about it this week than I did last week. Oh, and I saw the movie “World Trade Center” this weekend. I enjoyed it very much. I think it’s definitely worth seeing.

On the topic of the beat up bar, I think that it’s a great idea. I don’t think it’s really for people who have serious problems and huge mental problems. I would assume that it’s just a place for them to get rid of some stress. I really love the show. Bye

Hey!
First time I have heard the show, and I really like it.
Quite entertaining!
Just for kicks, I’ll tell you, I’m a redhead.
And the study is right on. Right on the dot.
I’ve also heard that redheads require greater amounts of anesthesia, than women of other hair colors or men of any hair color.
I tried to look up the study on the internet, but found nothing. You should put some links to where you found the information.
Cheers!

Just wanted to comment on the study about the red heads….. I am single and I have long curly red hair myself. From my own personal experience, I just want to say that YES, I think red heads get more action in the bed, and are maybe a bit wilder as well. I can go out with several friends, all attractive, all different hair colors and I will get hit on the most from men, most of them commenting about a fiery red head and how much that is a turn on to them. I think men really do believe that a red head is more passionate, and although I can’t speak for everyone, I know I am very passionate.

Leah and Jade, pleased to make your acquaintance. The three of us should get together sometime soon. Yes?

wow…who knew? I thought I knew a thing or two about women, but apparently not. Good to hear that the study rings true. Keep posting those experiences!

When I heard about the kittens in a frying pan, I just thought about my dog. He’s an animal but my friend and gives me a lot more than I give.
Dogs or cats…they all can be good friends and even if you don’t like animals, or hate animals, they are life, they feel!
That kinds of abusive behavior make me sick.

As a former colorist, I first commend your choice of topic. However, I feel exposed. Not only have I colored my hair out of spite toward future ex-husbands, I have also have gone red to get some needed action. I am currently blonde, after a serious home color job disaster three weeks ago (yes, it happens even to the best of us hair stylists) I went red long enough to get the mail, see the ever so cool Linda E. (THE 80’s super model) blonde again on the cover of Vogue, show my license to use dangerous chemicals in the state of California, like powder bleach, and go back to, not quite as obviously desperate, blonde. I am now validated it was the wiser of the options. I am not that desperate…. yet.
I am also hooked on the show, which I listen to through my ibook, on itunes. I still haven’t figured out “podcasts”.
SB is my hometown and I felt connected to your rental dilema. Fiesta ruled long ago before they banned the street dancing and live bands like Dishwalla who played Depeche Mode and The Cure cover songs next door to Zelo.

Do you still live in SB? Dishwalla is actually one of my all-time faves. It’s too bad they seem to be done.
Thanks for the kinds words about the show…all of you.

married to a redhead – and not too sure that she’s what i’d call sexed-up. while not the wildest or most libininous of the women i’ve known, i must say that the sex is the best.
plus, i’m an ugly man, and she really digs gargoyles, so that helps.

About Redheads..Love them…LOVE THEM!
I’ve only dated two…but they were the best girlfriends I’ve ever had…very cool, easy going and the whole red hair, fair skin and freckles thing?? Wow, highly attractive as far as I’m concerned!!
I have specifically wanted find another red head to go out with, but they’re hard to find! Even here in LA!
I think that is definitely part of the allure…You don’t see them all the time ya know?
I have only dated black girls and blondes ever since…They can be very cool, but not quite the same as far as my experience goes…
