Off to Pittsburgh
In just under two hours I will be on a plane for Pittburgh, PA. Well, not really. I’ll be on a plane to Los Angeles, then to NYC, but I will eventually end up in Pittsburgh tomorrow morning. With any luck I’ll be able to get sleep a few winks on the 14 hour journey.
As I mentioned in this week’s show, I am going to a family wedding. More than anything I am excited to see my Mom and Stepdad, my brother Chris, his wife Sarah, and their two kids Elijah and Sadie. I’m sure I’ll blink and before I know it I’ll heading back to California on Sunday. Two days with family is better than nothing though.
Over the next few days I will be unplugged and away from a computer so if you send me an email and I don’t respond you know why. Judging by the number of emails I’ve received this week already, I expect I’ll have a bunch to come home to on Sunday. So far I’d say about 75% of them have been regarding my comments about Zidane. I expected that honestly. The rest have been pretty evenly mixed about bathroom etiquette and the U.S. Embassy in Iraq. Thoughtful points all.
I will have my mobile phone this weekend so look for several Mobile-Cast updates. Layovers at airports are a great time for people watching and subsequently call in and do updates about them. Also, as you may have detected I tend to drunk dial in regards to the Mobile-Cast. I guess that’s better than calling a buddy or an old girlfriend at 3:00 AM, right?
