Impromptu Vegas
It’s no secret that the last couple of weeks of my personal life have sucked. Yesterday, I was talking to Brian on IM and he was asking about the latest news in the saga. He then asked what I was doing this weekend. When I explained to him that Kim was working all weekend and I’d probably be sitting on the couch drooling on myself with Mia-the-Wonder-Dog, he replied “blow off work on Friday and come to Vegas.” At first I dismissed the idea, I’m really not an impulsive guy and I really hadn’t planned on a balls out-ten guy-revert back to college days- weekend of drunken obnoxiousness (Editor’s note: I’m sure I WAY overused and mis-used hyphen in that last sentence). After thinking about it for a minute I thought ‘fuck it, why not?’ So I called Kim and she was on-board with the idea and now here I am – packed and ready to go. The mini is at the mechanic now getting her oil changed and being looked over for proper fluid levels etc. in preparation for a six hour trip through the 110 degree desert.
It’s going to be 10 guys in three rooms at the Luxor. There will be many rounds of drinks, old stories, and juvenile behavior to be sure. I haven’t had a weekend like that in a long time and I sure am looking forward to it. I just need to blow off some steam and regroup my mind. If the trip is a success I’ll return on Saturday night exhausted, a bit hungover, and much less stressed.

Supper idea, I think is the best thing to unestress your mind. And let me tell you are a really lucky guy having a so supporting wife. Havea nice trip and please don`t miss the next cliché, for sure it will be something different.

Enjoy yourself Scott… don’t let it get you down at all this weekend. Unwind and laugh as much as you can. Hope you have a great time and you come back feeling awesome.
And check the voicemail… there’ll be a rant on there that is downright seething… and hopefully you get a chuckle out of it!

Hope your trip was as good as my ladies was. She was in Vegas last weekend with her girl friend that turned 21. It was her first time and she said she can’t wait to go back. I’ve only been there once myself and i was still a minor, so it wasnt all that great of an experience when i went. Dont get me wrong, i had a blast walking up and down the strip picking up all the free porn from the mexican’s and watching drunk idiots fall on their face’s screaming, “I LOST ALL MY MONEY”. (Saw this happen 4-5 times within 2 nights.) It was pretty funny.
Well i hope everything goes well for you in the HOT Nevada State. I love your wife’s name by the way. Dont lose; win. Wait’n on the next Cliche…

Thanks for your support. I had a great trip and will be chatting about it on tomorrow’s show. Who knew you could crack a rib playing craps? Well, I did it.
