Some New Shizzle…
I hope everyone is having a good week. I can’t properly express in words how happy I am that it is Friday. This week has been really long and drawn out and I’m looking forward to a great weekend with friends.
Anyway, the reason for this post is to let you know about some new stuff on the site. The goal is to keep you better connected to the show and to help you contribute more easily. First off, I know that many of you listen to the show each week by streaming it through iTunes or Windows Media rather than subscribing to the rss feed. This week I added a feature on the side of the site titled “Notify Me of New Shows.” When you enter your email, you’ll get a reminder when there is a new show published for you to listen to. That means no more checking the stream repeatedly to see if a new episode has been posted. Simply enter your email and we’ll do the rest. No spam, no unecessary messages. I promise.
I also added some new ways to get in touch and contribute feedback to the show. First, you can call our new Los Angeles based voicemail line at 323.285.5219 and leave your rant or feedback from any phone. The only restriction is that the message needs to be kept to a minute or less or the service will cut you off. If you’re a little more tech savvy and want to try sending a voice comment from your computer, you can try the new “Send Me a Voice Message” feature. Click on the icon and it will allow you to record a comment from your computer and send it off as an email. You will need either have an external or internal microphone for your computer and know how to configure it. Give it a try and if you can’t make it work, than get on the phone!
Hopefully these new tools will entice you to stay involved with A.C. My goal has always been to make you guys part of the conversation. Your comments and feedback certainly help shape what I do and these tools can make that process easier.
Finally, I do have some big new to share with you on next week’s show. Maybe “big” isn’t the right word. It shouldn’t affect you guys at all, but does mean great things for A.C. We’re definitely moving onward and upward and I’m excited to have you all along for the ride.
Have a great weekend!

Where’s your Frappr Map? I’m not usually into anything that is even closely related to MySpace. MySpace reminds me a lot of GeoCities from the old days. A necessary evil, but really for amateurs. But I do like Frappr at least to see where everyone is in the world.
Also if I recall from the days when I was in high school, a Resource Officer is similar to a rent a cop, except they are actual cops provided by the City in an effort to make school feel more like a prison (think prison guard). They haul kids off to the police station when they get too out of line, provide “counseling” to especially bad kids, and generally try to intimidate to control students.

I was thinking cause of all the comments maybe a forum but too much effort to moderate.
But a frappr wouldent be bad.

I listened to your comments about US gov and my barely enlighted opinion. I apologize for my misunderstood about the banners and the “God bless America” famous sentence. I agree United States has contributed a lot to the raise of other nations. I am proud of you but still disagree all the things you already know and have commented. I still dream with a better world.
!
I also love my land, Mexico and you know not all the mexican inmigrants are the same kind of people. Many maxican scientists contribute in the NASA, for example.
Scott, I like and enjoy your radio station, Keep good working and go ahead

Why didn’t you just unscrew the lightbulb? Or discount the wire going to the glove compartment.
