HI Katherine,

The best way to get the show whenever you want to hear would be subscrive to it as a podcast. It's free and easy. In your iTunes you may notice a "podcast" section among your playlists. To subscribe simply look on the left side of this website and click on the "Add to iTunes" link. That will add this show to the podcast section of iTunes. Then wwhenever you like you'll be able to listen to the last show right from there. You'll be able to start, stop, rewind, and continue listening later again if you wish.

The other thing you can do if use the "Listen Now" link on the site. That will open a player in which you can find your place again the next time you listen.

Email me if you have any more questions.

Ok I should have read this before posting my other comment :S
Oh well I'm from Scotland as I have previously said, my iTunes is being a bitch and jumping loads and rebuffering every 2 seconds so I can't listen to it right now I got like halfway through that show and it managed to crash and stop playing and I clicked on it again and it started from the begining!!! Ragin'! I'll listen to the rest when my computer stops being an ass.
I like your show cause I can't find any good British shows and its fun to listen to something other than music sometimes, Radio One in Britian is crap cause they hardly ever play indie music and if they do it starts to get over popular and they over play it and it gets annoying so you can't listen to it any more, like Fallout Boy they got WAY overrated in Britain.
Anyway I hope I can listen to it soon cause I need something to do while I'm studying, is there anywhere else other that on iTunes that I can listen?

That certainly is a wonderful compliment. Agree or disagree with me, if you find it worth listening to each week, then I feel like I've succeeded.

As a sort of addendum, I am also from Santa Cruz, CA. And so Santa Barbara makes me think of home.

Keep it up with the interesting content and dialogue. You really are producing something worth listening to, and I think that is possibly the highest compliment I can give you.

Loren,

That is a great point. Even though I do get a bunch of email from people that are from abroad, I get a LOT of email from people in your situation that are either studying or living abroad. I guess American Cliche reminds them of home?

Thanks for posting your comment. I do think you are dead on.

I am not sure about how universally true this is, but I for my part am an exchange student living in Spain, and I like listening to American Cliché because, well, first of all it is an enjoyable show, but secondly it helps me maintain a little connection to the US. I imagine that a sizeable percentage of your international listenership are Americans living abroad, especially when there are listeners in countries where English is not an official language.

Just a thought
